The line truly is 0.5mm and comes in crisp. The tip doesn't break, spill ink, or dry out over time. It makes a consistent line and always puts ink on the page when you put it on the page. You can write or draw for hours and expect that this pen will continue to perform, time after time. It's a little hard to explain, but there's even an artistic quality to the stroke of this pen, so handwriting looks even better than it does with a basic pen.
