Better Designs Start with Trace Paper

No, we're not kidding.

The best designs are the ones that have been explored the most. All options were considered and the best one was chosen at every stage of the design. There is no faster and easier tool for exploring your design options than trace paper. Roll it out, rip some off, and quickly sketch over your current idea to explore a whole new one. Not every Architecture student uses it, but the ones who do always have better final projects.

We recommend Alvin Tracing Paper on a roll. It's the most compact way to store 50 yards of trace paper, which is enough to last a full semester when used frequently. It is easy to tear by hand and takes well to pencil, pen, charcoal, and even felt tip markers with no bleed.

There are many sizes to choose from. Most drawings you print are on standard 8.5"x11" or 11"x17" copy paper, so the 12" roll covers both just fine. The larger rolls of trace paper are worth it if you know you will be printing on even larger pieces of paper often.

Alvin is a trusted brand for making quality products and is an industry leader in Architecture and engineering tools for design. With over 150 reviews and an average 4.7 Star rating, this Trace Paper can do no wrong.
